The unofficial kick off to summer is coming this Memorial Day weekend. With a variety of family friendly events happening throughout the weekend, you are sure to find a perfectly suited activity. Here are just a few of the events happening throughout North Conway and the White Mountains.
The Memorial Day Sidewalk Sale kicks off on Friday, May 27th and runs through Monday, May 30th. With over 20 Settlers Green and Settlers Crossing stores participating, you are sure to find great discounts and sales.
75 exhibitors will be coming to the North Conway Community Center for the Memorial Weekend Craft Fair. The event will feature beautiful crafts including fine jewelry, wearable art, wooden crafts, quilts, quilted home décor, gourmet foods, glass art, floral arrangements and more. Admission is free and will be held rain or shine under canopies.
Don’t miss the Wildquack Duck River Festival in Jackson Square. With duck races, silent auction, 5 Minutes of Fame Competition, Jackson Cake Boss Competition, parade, traveling train rides, children’s activities, Bo Bo T Clown, infamous MC’s Rob and Andrew Clark and vendors will make for a day filled with family fun.
Memorial Day Weekend also means opening day at several local attractions including Santa’s Village, Clark’s Trading Post, Mt. Washington COG Railroad and Story Land.
